The 'Breaking Bad' creator will be honored for his career at the 13th annual LMGI Awards in August.
Vince Gilligan will be honored with the Eva Monley Award, the highest career prize from the Location Managers Guild International, according to Deadline.

The Eva Monley Award is the LMGI’s top honor. In a statement, the guild praised Gilligan’s understanding of how locations shape narrative. “In his work, locations do not simply serve the narrative — they help create it,” the LMGI said. “Landscapes become characters.”

Gilligan expressed deep respect for location professionals in a quote provided to Deadline. “It’s not easy to knock on a homeowner’s door and convince them to let 300 strangers traipse through their kitchen,” he said. “They’re some of the hardest-working folks in the business, and I couldn’t respect them more.”
The guild also announced it will present its 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award to Mike Fantasia and its Trailblazers Award to the Association of Film Commissioners International.
