Paul Wesley Shares Sweet Story of Being Brittany Snow's First Kiss
A youthful on-screen kiss took on new meaning when a mother shared a secret. The Vampire Diaries star recounts the charming story behind a personal milestone.

Paul Wesley revealed he was Brittany Snow's first kiss, a fact he learned only after the scene was filmed. The actor shared the story on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Wesley was 16 or 17 years old when he and Snow played on-screen love interests on the soap opera Guiding Light. "I was on a soap opera with Brittany Snow. She’s one of my dear friends. I adore her. She’s the best," he said. "So, Brittany and I played boyfriend and girlfriend on a show called The Guiding Light. I was like, 16 years old, making a bunch of cash." He recalled filming their first kiss scene, thinking nothing of it, only to be surprised afterward. "I remember afterwards her mom comes up to me and she goes, 'Just so you know, that was her first kiss ever,'" Wesley recounted. "And I was like, 'What?! I didn't know that!'"
The moment has become a sweet footnote in their long friendship. Wesley called it "really sweet" and noted the two remain "really good friends" today. The story offers a playful glimpse into the unexpected personal milestones that can happen on a professional set.
