The 35-year-old actress stepped out in New York City on July 9, ditching her signature blonde locks for a deep brunette shade. It's her darkest hair color in more than a decade, and fans were quick to notice the nostalgic vibe.

For the outing, the Oscar winner wore the brown hair in a tousled ponytail with face-framing bangs, a style that E! News noted is reminiscent of her onscreen look in the 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook. That role, opposite Bradley Cooper, scored her an Academy Award. The new 'do also serves as a call back to her Hunger Games era, sparking a wave of fan nostalgia online.

But her hair isn't the only way she's changing up her look. In an interview with the New Yorker published in October 2025, Lawrence shared insight into her plans to go under the knife for a boob job. Speaking about her postpartum body after the birth of her second son in 2025, she said, "Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one," referring to her son Cy, 4. "Second one, nothing bounced back."

She revealed she was set to film a nude scene for a film the following spring, which motivated the planned November procedure. However, she admitted, "Maybe I wouldn't be hustling to the appointment in the same way. But I think yes." She also touched on her stance regarding cosmetic injectables, revealing she hasn't gotten filler but reportedly has done slight Botox. As for a future facelift, it seems she noted a refresh is something for the future, adding she plans to do it.
