Jimmi Simpson, Ben Wang, Zosia Mamet Join Cast of Dark Comedy 'Kaet Might Die'

Jimmi Simpson, Ben Wang, and Zosia Mamet have joined the cast of the dark comedy film “Kaet Might Die,” according to an exclusive report from Deadline.

The movie is an adaptation of Kaet McAnneny’s memoir “Boobs Gone Rogue” and has already wrapped production. Director Mercedes Bryce Morgan is at the helm.

The report lists several other new additions, including J.B. Yowell, who also serves as an executive producer, Lauren Tom, Katherine Lunam, Sharon Azrieli, and Ana Ruiz de Porras. They join the previously announced lead cast of Awkwafina, Anthony Ramos, and Ken Jeong.

Adapted by Angela Gulner and Yuri Baranovsky, “Kaet Might Die” is described as a dark comedy based on a true story. It follows a woman, played by Awkwafina, whose perfectly ordered life is upended by a cancer diagnosis.
