Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to adapt the short story "Renegades" into a feature film, with Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley set to direct, according to Deadline.
The project, described as an action-thriller, is based on a story by writer Will Simmons, who is also attached to adapt it for the screen.

Hutch Parker will produce the Renegades adaptation under his deal at Sony Pictures. Parker's previous producing credits include the Venom and X-Men franchises.
