Katseye Drops Ed Sheeran-Written Single 'Animal' Featuring Demi Moore

Katseye has released their new single "Animal," a track co-written by Ed Sheeran that features a guest appearance from actress Demi Moore in its music video, according to Rolling Stone.

What happens in the 'Animal' music video?

The video for "Animal" puts a twist on the group's own origin story. Katseye performs for a fictional, gender-swapped boardroom panel called Boyseye, who are initially unimpressed. After their headshots are torn apart, they regroup with help from a special guest. Demi Moore appears in the video, offering fashion advice and tough love in a role that evokes Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada. The track was produced by Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin, who have previously worked with Addison Rae and Adéla.

What's next for Katseye?

The release of the "Wild" EP in August will be followed by the theatrical release of their movie, Katseye: Wild Hearts. After that, the group will launch their "Wildworld Tour" in September. The tour will include stops across North America and Europe, with two nights scheduled at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The group celebrated the single's premiere with a 30-minute countdown event on YouTube, where members Lara, Yoonchae, Megan, and Daniela shared teasers for their upcoming projects. "We’re really stepping it forward and trying new stuff and it’s looking so good," Daniela said during the stream, per Rolling Stone.
