Disney+ has ordered an animated series adaptation of the comic book series Afterlife with Archie, according to TV Series Finale. The project is slated to premiere on the streaming service in Halloween 2027.

The executive producer team also includes Jimmy Gibbons, Leigh London Redman, and Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater.
