Belmont Cameli Spills on 'Off Campus' Season 2 Filming and His Hollywood Hair Connection

What do two of TV's hottest hockey players have in common? It's not just their sport of choice.

Belmont Cameli, who plays Garrett Graham on Prime Video's hit series 'Off Campus', dished on the upcoming second season and his unique connection to 'Heated Rivalry' star Hudson Williams in a new interview. The 28-year-old actor appeared on the 'Therapuss' podcast with host Jake Shane, offering fans a peek behind the scenes.

On filming progress, Cameli shared, "We’re almost finished with the first two episodes of season two. We’ve read the first half of the episode, so we’ve read four it’s really good," adding, "Yeah. And the ensemble is really alive in this upcoming season," and "Everybody has stuff going on all together, which is really fun."

The conversation took a turn toward the other hockey show in town, 'Heated Rivalry'. When asked if he'd spoken to anyone from that series, Cameli revealed a Hollywood grooming link. "Hudson [Williams] and I have, correspondence. Well, we both use Aika Flores. Who’s our groomer. Who are our hair and face," he said, according to Just Jared.

Cameli also detailed his unique path to landing the role of Garrett Graham. "I didn’t audition as Garrett until the very last day of auditions," he explained. This led to a chemistry read with 28 actors to cast the six or seven lead roles.

'Off Campus' is the Prime Video adaptation of the popular book series. The show's first season was a success, prompting the swift renewal and current production of season two. Cameli's co-stars and the full release date for the new season remain officially unannounced.

While the shared hairstylist is a fun bit of trivia, it's a reminder of the small, interconnected world of Hollywood—where even rivals on-screen might share the same expert behind the scenes getting them camera-ready.
