A new streaming series based on the Famous Amos cookie brand is set to premiere on The Roku Channel next month, according to Blex Media. The show, titled Famously You, marks the brand's first original streaming project and will debut exclusively on the platform on July 24.
Gabrielle Union is attached as an executive producer through her production company, I’ll Have Another. The series is created and hosted by musician and author Rev Shawn Amos, the son of late Famous Amos founder Wally Amos.
What is 'Famously You' about?
The show celebrates individuality by featuring people with unique passions, from speedcubing to championship cup-stacking. Each episode includes a conversation with the host and a surprise celebrity guest. The first season's guest lineup includes actor Robert Ri’chard, singer-actress Naturi Naughton-Lewis, comedian Rachel Dratch, Shrinking actor Michael Urie, chef Buddha Lo, and tap dancer Savion Glover.

Who else is producing the series?
Executive producers include co-creator Jesse Murphy under his banner Presented By Media, Broadway playwright Douglas Lyons, and producers Kian Gass and Alex Levine. The series was announced by Ferrero North America, the current owner of the Famous Amos brand.
