Amazon released the first trailer for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the team also announced that actor Simon Pegg will voice the Balrog in the upcoming season. The fiery, hulking monster will help the dark lord Sauron forge the One Ring.

The new footage, shown during Amazon's Comic-Con showcase, depicts Middle-earth in open war. Royal elf Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, leads her forces against the dark lord Sauron, portrayed by Charlie Vickers.
