Logan Browning Talks 'I Will Find You' Action and Sam Worthington's Gun Tutorial

Logan Browning discussed her role in the new Netflix thriller series I Will Find You and shared behind-the-scenes stories about filming its action sequences, according to Variety.

She plays Sarah Greer, an FBI agent who is partnered with her father, Max Williams, played by Chi McBride, in the Boston bureau. Browning admitted the premise required some suspension of disbelief. "In doing all my research, I was like, ‘This is a big no-go, like, this would never happen,’" she said, laughing. The producers explained the characters had "special privileges because of his tenure."

What is 'I Will Find You' about?

The series follows David Burroughs, played by Sam Worthington, a man who escapes prison after learning his son, whom he was convicted of murdering, may still be alive. Browning's character and her father are part of the team hunting him, though she ultimately helps clear his name. The show is based on a novel by Harlan Coben.

What was it like filming the action scenes?

Browning described a pivotal rooftop chase where her character and Worthington's leap between buildings. "I can hop buildings, didn’t you know that?" she quipped. She recalled Worthington suggesting they lock eyes during the scene to foreshadow their eventual team-up. "When we did do that roof scene, Sam brought this up. He’s like, ‘They need to lock eyes a couple of times because they are going to team up so fast in the end,’" Browning said.

Her co-star also provided practical on-set training. "Even though Sam’s character doesn’t use guns much, Sam has obviously used guns a lot," she noted. "There was one scene where one of our directors Maggie Kiley wanted me to reload. Sam taught me on the spot how to do that."
